Our biggest challenge in delivering holistic experiences is overcoming our own organizational silos. Aligning with the conference theme of Meaningful Connections, this talk focuses on harnessing and aligning internal capabilities to further service design thinking. In today’s in-house teams, service design is still a relatively small discipline. However, there are often allies in the form of content strategists, product marketing managers, and in broader design teams — they just might not know it yet. We’ll cover how to activate these teammates as secret service designers through shared goals, common language, resources, and more.
